Recall - Fuel Gasket
Anyone get this fix done yet? I just got the recall notice a couple of weeks ago. How long does the fix take?

Try this link; http://www-odi.nhtsa.dot.gov/owners/SearchSafetyIssues
It may not apply to all.
Recall is a safety one about the sealing property of the gasket seated between the pressure sensor and the fuel delivery pipe. Could become degraded. Risk of fire if ignition source present.

To paraphrase: In the Lexuses, dealers will replace the gasket, refinish the surface where the gasket sits, and reinstall the fuel-pressure sensor. In September, Toyota admitted a similar problem with leaking fuel in which end caps on one of the lines could have been poorly welded. About 20,000 2014 Toyota Avalon, Camry, Highlander, and Sienna models, as well as 2015 Lexus RX crossovers, were recalled.

Apparently this was recalled more than a year ago for some vehicles Maybe they are just catching up to ours. Looks like an older Australia thread talks about this taking 4 hours. So it sounds like, thanks to it being a Lexus, I can get a loaner at least and leave the car with them for a day.

Yeah I recently got a check engine light because of my fuel cap was bad, and my boy who works in service told me to just come back in a couple days to replace my fuel gasket.

I'm going to call today to see when I can set it up. Set up for June 11th. Too much crappy weather this month and stuff going on. I wouldn't want to get it wet. LOL
