Unhappy "New" IS, minor issues?

Hello everyone.
I picked up a 07 IS250 a few days ago and am now an proud IS owner

However, there is a few audio issue with the car. The audio FM/AM does not work.
When I hit the Audio button, this screen shows up and that's it.

The speakers are okay because the BT does make sounds. The previous owner had amp in the truck and I think that's the reason why the radio doesn't work. the aux, and cd all don't work. Here are 2 wires that are just hanging there from the previous owner when he removed his amp.

Any idea on how I should go about doing this? I think the radio unit is fine, and I think this might just be a simple fix like connect a loose wire or ground a wire.

Thank you everybody!

I would start by covering up the wire ends with tape because there's a good chance the red wire is connected to a live 12volt source and you don't want it to short out on a ground.

Unfortuntaly, I don't know much about how the stock navi works. This is probably a dumb question, but is the unit on? Like on my Chinese unit, if I push the volume **** in, it turns the audio off, but the screen still shows everything else, like climate.

Also, check the settings to see if there is an option to turn the factory amplifier off.

Oh the 2 wires are taped up by the previous owner just the picture isn't showing it. And yeah the unit is on.

I did a bit research and I think it's either 1. the current amp on the car or 2. the radio unit
I really hope it's not the latter..

Do you know the previous owner? If you do, just ask him/her what did they do to the system. If not, the quickest way to find out is remove the head unit and look in the back to make sure all the cables/wires are properly connected. I believe some people added aftermarket amp/sub via some sources of by passing the OEM setup.

Unfortunately I don't know the previous owner. I wasn't aware that people mess with the stock radio when wiring the amp/sub. But I'll pull the unit out to check and see.
