Default Been gone from the forums awhile, wondering if we had some solutions for a few issues

Hey everyone,

I was needing some advice, as well as wondering if anyone has found a remedy for a few issues.

First off, I am needing to buy new 18 inch tires, because mine are about 50,000k miles worn. I was looking at them today, and the wear is only on the inside of both of my front tires. I put on H%R racing springs awhile back, and am thinking the wear is because I do not have a camber kit on my car. Is this something I should buy, and if so, what are some good kits at a decent price for my 2006 lexus is250?

Also, has anyone found a remedy for the back windshield creaking, or the mysterious sunroof creaking (where the heck does the sound come from anyways)?

Thank you!

I can comment of the tire-wear issue. Basically it boils down to needing to have an alignment done to ZERO out your toe AND you'll probably want a pair of FIGs LCA bushings as well. The OE bushings have ALOT of deflection in them that help cause the wear.

I'd not worry about the minimal additional - camber the lowering springs add.

50k is very good regardless. I wouldn't waste my money on a camber kit if you are able to get 50k on your tires.

I can only get about ~20-25k for the front before the steel starts showing and ~30k on the rear.

Do you hear like a creaking noise where the sun visor is on the driver side?? Cause I get that every now and then, it's pretty annoying.

Perfect, as always, thanks Gville. Smokey, yes, I have been lucky, but as soon as I put on the springs, I noticed a tremendous wear on the inside. Once I put these new tires on, I am concerned with how quick the insides will wear down.

Justbrosey, I hear it more on the passenger side, and I am not sure where it is coming from, but it only happens when the sunroof is open.
