Default Front fender fitment

Hey guys,

Been looking through the fitment thread, but didn't really see anything with these specs. Planning on pricing up some wheels, but not sure if I'll rub the fender on the front. I'm lowered on Tein Comfort Sports and I'm planning on picking up 18x9.5 +38 and running 245/35/18s on the front.

Anyone running something similar?

The 245 will be too wide for the front. Widest is usually 235 and many go with 225 up front when trying to avoid rubbing when low or low offset.

Hijacking the thread a bit (while staying on topic)...

Do you think 245 will fit up front with a +42 offset? 19x8.5jj wheel. I have them and will be mounting them in a few weeks when it warms up. Unless it's a definitive "no" then I'll get 235's. I've found some threads that people have ran 245's with no modifications or with a slight heat gun liner fix.

Offset calculator has given me this: Compared to your existing wheel, this new wheel will have an inner rim which is 3.3mm closer to the suspension strut. The outer rim will poke out 9.3mm more than before.

Right now I'm running a 235/40/18 on a 18x8.5 +30 and I rub on the top all the time when I hit dips. By going 245/35, I lose a little bit of height on the tire which I was hoping for. What will I rub with the 245s? Inner fender while turning?

Inner portion of liner and maybe the front bumper tab, depending on how low you go.

Already shaved the bumper tabs. I think it's just the liner right now.
