Default 100,000 mile servicing ?

I'm a little over 100,000 miles on my 08 IS250. I've been getting emails from the dealer about being due for my next servicing. Is there anything special at 100,000 miles that should/need be replaced or done ?

Spark plugs, coolant, cabin and air filter. That's what I did.

I would also change the brake fluid and do a drain and refill for the trans.

you can't drain the tranny. just replace differential fluid.

If you didn't change the plugs at 60K then do those, coolant. The air and cabin filters you can do yourself. Don't let them sell you a bunch of extra things you don't need or can do yourself. Have you checked your owners manual for what to have done?

Thanks. I did change the cabin air filter myself last year. Can't recall if any of those other things were done. I'll make sure the dealer doesn't try to do anything that is not needed...

I have a toyota tacoma that has no dip stick and is also has a auto trans, but it can be easily flushed or just drained and refilled. The IS has no lines running to the radiator but you can drain 1.5 -2 quarts from the drain plug and use a hand pump to add new fluid back.

Important to check trans oil level to see if it needs to be topped off and replace trans oil filter to prevent clogging also diff oil.
