Default Recal ELF?

this has probably been brought up but does anyone know what exactly this is about? it's not the carbon issue is it because I called the dealer and they said that they were just gonna inspect my car as they might not need to do anything.

It's replacement of the high pressure sensor gasket for the fuel system.

do you know why the service rep told me they would see if it needed replacement? I don't see why they wouldnt just replace it if it's a recal.

I just got mine back today for this recall. Check with your lexus dealer, they should have the parts in now for it.

How long did it take them and did they give a loaner car?

I finally got the notice to schedule an appointment for this recall and might wait til they get the parts in to do the dash/door panel replacements so they can do it all at the same time.

they only checked it over, they said they didn't have the parts yet but they didn't tell me when they would be getting them. the service rep was kind of unhelpful probably because my age and I wasn't spending money on service.

What dealer? All should have the parts in stock and if not should have them by the next day.

Then your rep is just bad. I have always been treated extremely well and I bought my IS350 (brand new) when I was 17 years old.You should have called in asking about the recall, since they can be out on parts or have a waiting list like they did for the valve gear recall.
