Would I run into any problems running 245/40/18 on my 250AWD
Saw like new set of snow tires for cheap on craiglist and was wondering if i could run this size on my AWD is250. My car is stock with the oem 18 inch is350 wheels. Would I experience any kind of rubbing?

My math says the diameter will be 2*0.4*(245-225)=16mm which is about 0.63" larger diameter. Also about 0.8" wider. I'm running 245/40/18 on the front of mine with a 18x8.5 with 40mm offset. I get no rubbing, but I would if I lowered it much. Mine is an IS350. I honestly don't know what is different in the suspension up front between the two. I suspect yours would fit the same as mine, but the differences may make that combination not work on a 250

If your not lowered it would fit fine with no rubbing. 245/40 might stick out a but but not enough to be noticeable unless you really look at it. I have Plus snow tires tend to be a little thicker so even thouhg 40 is a low profile, it would look thick. Right now im running a 225/45 and its fine for me

Rears will fit fine, fronts might be a bit close, but if you're not lowered, it will probably be fine too, the AWD is a bit higher than the RWD.
I am running 245/40R17 all around on my RWD (sport suspension) with no issue, but the 18's will be an inch taller diameter than I'm running.

245/40R18 is taller than 225/40R18
