Default Is 30K package Air Cabin Filter REgular or Carbon?

Anyone know if the 30k package from Sewell has a REGULAR Air Cabin Filter or if its a CARBON Air Cabin Fitler in this package:

http://is.sewellparts.com/accessorie...2013/2083.html

I'm guessing it is a Regular filter since the package price is about the same price for Engine Air FIlter & Carbon Cabin filter (two items) only.

Thanks.

It is a regular filter. Not carbon.

Regular. I bought the carbon one last time. Didn't notice a difference. Went back to the regular one next time it was time to replace it.

^That was gonna be my question to folks on here since it I'm nearing 90k miles on my 2IS. Had both the "normal" cabin filter AND the carbon one; I've not really noticed any differences.

Anyone else experience any differences between the two in-cabin filters? The price difference of $15+ is worth researching to me.

I've had both and noticed that the Carbon Impregnated cabin filter helped if not eliminated exterior odors. For instance, when passing through rural areas that have an unpleasant odor the smell was less pungent than what I had previously experienced. I may purchase it again (as I rarely pass through stank zones) because I prefer my AC on AUTO which circulates between fresh and recycled air. One positive I had found (and failing to cite) is that if you have allergies (which I do not) it helped in some capacity. Take that last one with a grain of salt as I can only recall and not source.
