Default Big Fuse question...

This may be a dumb question, but is there anything to it to remove the big fuses besides just yanking it out?

I know the little ones are easy to yank out with the little tweezer tool, but what about the big ones?

Thanks

i have a 07 IS250. It started up for 5 sec, then died. Said "Check VSC" I thought it might be the battery and had it replaced, but still would not start. So i searched around and hope it maybe a bad fuse. Maybe something to do with the fuel pump. So I was attempting to pull out the large green fuse in the second picture (fuel pump fuse i think). Also will try to see if the main fuse is blown. It's in there pretty good but before i try to yank on it I was hoping to see if anyone here had experience pulling one of these.

Next up is to borrow my friend's ODBII scanner and see if it threw a code.

All of those should have a simple plastic tab you can pry on and then lift up...except the LARGE fusible link section in the first pic.

How is that fusible link section taken out?

BTW, that green thing in the second pic is a relay.

All the fuses I checked are good. I think I have a bad fuel pump.....

Yes, correct.

Could be possible; you'd not be the first with a bad fuel pump.
