hey guys, just wanted to update the thread. I got a call from parkplace dealership that my dashboard arrived and theyre gonna get me in next week. the door panels did not arrive yet tho, that means 2 loan cars to enjoy

I don't know if this has been covered but are the replacement dash and panels the same parts? Will it happen again? I replaced my dash 3-4 years ago due to the glare the sticky dash caused. They gave me the dash but I paid labor. I was later reimbursed. I also purchased the Lexus sun visor. And I use it almost every sunny day. There are no signs of the degradation.

All these updates gives me faith that it is happening! Just takes longer to ship these items over to the east coast apparently. LOL!

Finally got my dash replaced about two weeks ago. Sorry for the late reply. Lexus said they'd let me know when the door panels are made. Dropped off the car around 12pm, got it back around 6pm and they also fixed three recalls.

Dash looks great.

Been waiting for my 4 door panels since March of last year. I was told by the district manager it's due to shortage of resources required to build the parts.

I've been waiting on door panels since Aug/Sept of last year. One door panel came in and they replaced it but still waiting on 3 more.

Yah I have been waiting since last July here is So Cal. Seem to be slow everywhere.I did get a cursorily call from the dealer a few weeks ago stating I was still on the list though. Couldn't give me an update though.

Finally after years of complaining. Took my car in after getting the second letter last week. They are gonna replace the dash and all 4 panels. But the wait they said was 8-12 months. Who knows if I will still have this car by then. I still want out...

How bad were your panels? My dash is awful and waiting on the part. He, dealership, said my doors looked fine so what can I say to them to have them replaced?

Lexus on Laurens Road. They were nothing short of great. Gave me a '15 RX model for the day.

Idk if anyone ever posted a picture of the new dashboards and what they look like but here you go! Pretty much the same, but with a funky smell that's stuck around for a while now lol

Got a call for my dash from Lexus of Orange Park (Jacksonville, FL) but only had dash so I opted to wait for the door panels and have it all done at the same time. Probably another few months of waiting for me. It was too much trouble to go back and forth since I am 1-1/2 hrs from the dealership.

I think they put me on the list for a dash about 4 months ago.

Btw, my dash and door panels are fine, but I got the recall letter.

However, when my NAV went out, the dealer that replaced it F'ed up my dash while taking out the old NAV. It was ghetto fixed but looks melted. Can I claim this as a reason for the dash replacement?
