Lucky you USA.

Even vvt camgear recall is not yet out in Saudi Arabia.

I hate my car , my dashboard is totally dead.

And no I can't even pay to change it since my IS350 was imported from USA , the dealer refuse to touch the car for anything.

Can anyone provide me with Lexus or Toyota headquarters where I can complain about this ? I tried before but only found emails that support people of USA only.

It seems that only US citizens get their rights

^Thanks for posting that! Are you the original owner of your 2IS? Had you previously complained to Lexus (dealership or corporate) about this issue? Is the warranty/recall code "ZLD" I guess?

I'm also the 2nd owner of a 350, received letter about the fuel sensor(i think) and will be looking forward to this new recall improvement! Woop Woop!

I am not the original owner but Im pretty sure that I am the second, possibly third? I have never complained to Lexus about it but I was going to mention something when I did the fuel recall here in the coming months. My dash just has lint, hair, etc. permanently stuck into it and my door panels looks like absolute ***** due to simple wear and tear compounded with the material not lasting or standing up to normal wear and tear. I have attached a picture of my driver door panel that is simply having chunks routinely fall off right above the hand rail i guess you would call it. rear door panels simply have lost their overall finish and look like bare material. passenger front is holding up fairly well but I am going to request that all the panels and dash be replaced.

Awesome! I have an 06 and never had this issue, then last year it all came at once-sticky, cracking, scoring. Can't wait to get it fixed.

jusclark13, I have the EXACT same symptoms you do with my dash AND with the door handle there. Plus a bit crumbling off of the top of the door panel near the window. I'm not the original owner of my 2IS either and have not yet complained to Lexus about the issue; however, if I had not received my letter by the time I go in for the "fuel leak" issue, I will definitely mention it then.

Funny cause when I bought the car, used, I thought the dash just needed to be cleaned. I thought..........
sticky dash no prob and can clean it. NOPE not that easy. So it seems a lot of us are experiencing the same issue and hopefully will be receiving a letter for the recall in the new year. I will keep posted if I hear anything.
