Default Refinished My Wheels

Over the past week/weekend, I decided to refinish my wheels. The bubbling/chipping finish has bothered me since I got the car in February. I masked it for a while with some silver plastidip but that did not cut it. I used aircraft remover to dissolve the oem paint then sandblasted the wheels to a smooth finish. Then I sanded down the massive amount of curb rash from the previous owner. Finally, I painted them with 2 coats of primer, 6-7 thin coats of silver, and 2 coats of clear. While they were off the car, I repainted the red calipers with orange G2 paint kit and used the extra to make the hella horns match. Also bought a set of Blox black extended lugs from a buddy for $40. Not perfect but much better and not too bad if I do say so myself.

Just letting you know if those lugs are the spline design you should remove them ASAP, not very safe for OEM wheels. But wheels looks good, the Orange isn't my cup of tea though.

I'm not sure I am positive what you are referring to when you say spline design. Do you mean the ones that have like 6-8 slots on the outside and need a key to put them on and take them off? If so, these are not. They are just a standard 19mm socket.

I meant to say acorn style, I always mix those 2 words up. Look at this image the acorn lugs are usually used for aftermarket rims but for OEM you need Mag Seat lug nuts just like the ones that you get from factory.
