Default Haven't been seeing good parts in the market place

Is it me or is the 2IS scene dying out since everyone upgraded to another car or parted out. I haven't been seeing any good parts for weeks!

We have just about hit the cap of available aftermarket parts we can possibly have for the 2IS model. "New" products are rather rare now and all we see is the same "old" product over and over again.

This is the reason I'm looking at another car to "play" with, like a FR-S, S2000, or Miata that has a TON of aftermarket support that will keep me busy for years!

Same could be said with "new" parts for the S2K and Miata. I doubt any product coming out for those cars is anything groundbreaking.

The FR-S would be fun to mess around with. I visited Honda-Tech the other week and I still see the same style back when I was in the Honda scene 10 years ago.

Slammed, some nice Regamasters, lip kit, and Recaros.. Lol.

But for the S2000, there are alot of parts that are coming out that are a fraction of the price of the name brand stuff.

You have to figure it out from a retailers perspective. The model already was refreshed and the 2is ran from 06-13. Most people who had the car and wanted to mod it did and the rest are stragglers. Its not going to be profitable to engineer and create new parts for the car especially when you plan to sell a low volume. Its like that for every car. New parts require high demand, which is why the FRS/BRZ scene blew up.

I'm not sure about the whole FR-S thing, the car looks way to aggressive for a car with an engine rated at a measly 200HP. That's slower than an IS250 and you know how much people complain about the IS being slow. I'd say a Hyundai Genesis coupe would be a better choice, the 2.0T pushes 274HP and the 3.8 has 348HP. Yea it's a Hyundai but they've come along way's when it comes to quality and reliability (maybe not Toyota/Lexus reliable but pretty damn good).

It was never about horsepower. It was designed to carving canyons. It would leave all the cars you listed in the dust in a the canyons. The thing about the IS250 is that it is slow and not good in the corners. If you want the best bang for buck for horsepower forget Hyundai, go for a muscle car.
