Lexus IS250 3GR-FSE Swap - Possible???

Yeah I reached out to RR about remapping my ecu to accommodate a 3gr swap (and ultimately a supercharger) but have yet to hear anything back.... maybe they're not interested..........
The last time I mentioned the HKS kit to Rafi, he didn't seem too happy about it, so its possible they don't have any interest in ecu tuning for another company's product.
They did some really impressive work with their supercharged ISF, so I'm eager to work with them on something if they're interested -- at the very least a 3gr swap ecu remap as Jeff mentioned earlier

Anyone have any idea where I might source a 3GR-FSE from?
Have only found 2 on ebay - I'm located in Canada, and the two are thru a vendor who won't ship here... the mileage on them was not ideal either.
If anyone has any suggestions please let me know.
(Jeff I have sent you a message as well lol)

So I heard back from RR Racing:
Rafi said that unfortunately its not as simple as copying maps from one ecu to another as theres hundreds of maps.
Also for the isF they did, they put 100+ hours into tuning, so my "ecu project" would be a one off and wouldnt be worthwhile as they aren't reeleasing a kit for the 250.
-- so looks like I will have to look into running a piggyback if I swap AND supercharge.

Bumping an old thread, but can I use the bare 3GR-FSE block and head with the IS250 ancillaries or do I need everything from the 3GR-FSE other than the IS250 intake and throttle body?

The engines are identical so yes everything from the 2.5 will bolt right up and work on the 3.0 took me 14 hours to do the swap

Excellent, I've got a mate from Lexus that's going to do it for me; I'll report back when it's complete. Mine is an auto on a 55 plate, though I doubt that will cause any issues.

You shouldn't have a problem with that , straight forward but if you can put in a stronger clutch cause mine is a brand new clutch from lexus but with the additional power it slips a little in 3rd gear with the additional power, I have a k&N drop in filter and a custom cat back exhaust eliminating the last cat

would it be possible to simply swap out the 2.5 4GR-FSE block with a 3.0 3GR-FSE block and get the same horse power gains? since the engines are exactly to same except for one being 2.5 and the other 3.0, is that the reason for the horse power gains? or are the heads different? is the intake manifold bigger?
