Vendor review: Lexus Parts Now
Just wanted to post a review about my experience purchasing from Lexus parts now. I did a search to see if anyone purchased from them but nothing really came up.
I purchased GFX side skirts for $62.60 which I think is a great deal as regular price was $379. Shipping was only $13. Purchase process was fast and easy. Delivered within 7 days which was awesome. Before the order was processed I received an email from them saying that due to the weight and size of the packaging, I would need to pay and additional $22.67 on top of the $13. I said screw it. It's still a good deal. So I moved forward with my purchase.
Now for the upsetting part. Upon arrival at my door step, I noticed the packaging was a little flimsy. It was a Lexus box but it looked liked it was beaten up slightly. One end of the box was fine. But the other end of the box was completely open. No cardboard flap whatsoever to keep it inside the box. The only thing that was holding it inside the box was tape wrapped around the opening. Whoever did it didn't even do a good job. Not sure if taping was from UPS or the seller. So I unpack everything to check for any damages. Passenger side was fine; no issues. However, the driver side has slight damage at the edge. You can see below.
I'm going to contact LexusPartsNow to see what they can do about it. Overall experience is ok. Will update after I see what they can do about the damage.

Update!
So LPN contacted me back and they were willing to send me a new set. I wished I could keep the good side and only send back the bad one. Oh well. Let's hope the new set is packaged better with no damages.
So my rating for LPN: Good. Limited supplies though depending on what you want. Will definitely do business with them again if the price is right.

I also had a bad experience with Lexus Parts Now...
I was installing a set of F-sport shocks I bought from San Diego Lexus (great service & price) on my 2007 IS350. Started on the rear since that's where the blown shock was. Top mounts & boots were fine so I did not anticipate needing to replace fronts either. A week later started disassembly of RF shock & boot splits in 2 pieces as I remove the top mount. Start searching for availability & cost of front mounts, local dealership where I bought my IS new is 5 miles away & they have them in stock, but as usual they charge list price + 10%. Go online & find Lexus Parts Now advertises them for about 10% off list, which helps on a $130 overpriced, underengineered Toyota part.
Placed my order & then spent alot of time the next day trying to get a delivery date. Finally got a E-mail back the next day saying they should ship today. Never got another E-mail with shipping info the next day so I called & talked to someone that said he would look into it & E-mail me. Next day is a different day & same crap. YaDa, YaDa, YaDa, if I had known it was going to take 2 weeks to get my parts I would have reinstalled the old parts & had the use of my car.
Good Prices - don't order until you know how long it will take for them to ship the parts to you.
