Lexus Client service is 2nd to none.
I have an 08 IS250 with 65K miles and one of my shocks recently started leaking. I emailed Lexus about it telling them that I thought it was premature. They emailed me back telling me take it to my dealer and they are replacing both rear shocks free out of warranty.
Also a few months back they rebuilt some components in my engine free out of warranty..
such a great company to do business with.

^Agreed! Mostly we hear about only the bad things that come out of Lexus dealership experiences.
I have my own + experience to mention. Most of us know that our 2IS models with NAV units are prone to screen failure. Well, I found out that after my conversions with my service advisor (Troy) about my own failure and other customer's of his with this issue, and the fact that Lexus themselves wouldn't do anything about it, he started having one of his techs look at this NAV unit failure more deeply. Come to find out the tech managed to find out the root cause of the issue (advisor had no clue the details behind the actually root cause unfortunately) and is now able to fix NAV unit screen issues for MUCH MUCH less than the $4k bill that Lexus would normally ask for for a new unit altogether. Instead, the first customer with this fix was only charged $300 for the fix! Might have been a one-time "guinea pig" discounted charge, but that fact that the dealership took the initiative to try to find a fix for this "common" problem gives my local dealership high marks in my book!

I was out of warranty for a few months when my headlights were fogged.
I talked to them and they replaced it without cost. There is a reason why I am loyal to the Lexus brand.

is250 Recall
I received a call from Lexus Friday a week ago. They ask if I would like to come in and have the test done to see if I qualify for the carbon build-up recall. I showed up at the dealership at 8 o'clock Monday morning and before I had finished a cup of coffee the manager came and informed me my car had failed and qualified for the recall. Within 10-minutes I was on the road again in a 2015 RX350 loaner with only 100 miles on it (Nice Ride!). They replaced the pistons, rings and some other work totaling $5,000. They changed the oil (Duh!), filled it up with gas and washed my car. I picked my car up Wednesday afternoon and I never spent a dime. The car does seem to run a little smoother and quieter. BTW, I own a well kept 2009 is250 RWD with 80K miles on it.
They offered to replace the spark plugs if they haven't been replaced at part costs only since the engine is already torn down. I had already replaced them at 64/K with OEM Denso's as recommended. (Owners manual recommends replacement at 60K). They also offered to replace the water pump at part costs only if the seep hole showed signs of rust.
I was still a little speculative of whether this recall had even performed and spoke with a buddy of mine that had the same recall performed on his 2007 is250 the week before. He had his non-dealership Lexus mechanic check out what the Lexus paperwork had showed that was done and the offsite mechanic confirmed the recall work was legit.
I'll be the first to say Lexus Dealerships are out to make money but in this case they made their money off Lexus corporate!
