Default Accidentally tore bottom bumper off. Repair cost estimate?

So I accidentally pulled in to far into a parking spot and the front bottom part of my bumper (the strip underneath the actual bumper) was torn off by a concrete divider. Any idea how much it will generally cost me to replace? No damage was done to the rest of the car. I'd call a shop but they were all closed today.

I'm guessing it was the lip that got ripped off. If so you can order it from Sewell lexus painted and install it your self. Make sure you make an account with them to get the club lexus discount. Also you can upgrade and get the gfx lip if your car didn't already come with it. Or get one of the many different aftermarket lips out there.

Yup, what he said. The part numbers can be found here: http://is.sewellparts.com/oem-catalo...S350-2008.html

Another I early is to get a nice replica front lip from another manufacturer since the price may be close. This way you'll get something better that the stock little strip.

My wife did almost the same thing to her IS on Friday. Was checking the forums to see what was available and here was this post. Good timing!

Hers is still intact, but it gouged the pass side up pretty good (scraped the paint off and left a deep gouge in it). I saw this one on Amazon. Anyone have any input on it? I'm not afraid to prep/paint one in the garage myself once I get the painting kit.

^If you don't mind gaps and an ill-fitting front lip; remember, you get what you pay for.

Looks like it is about $240 w/ all the parts shipped. Do you think I will need to order all the clips/screws listed or should my old ones still work?

I think I'm also going to call a body shop and get an estimate….or is it even worth it…I doubt they will come even close to the $240 right?
