Default Used IS250 AWD-2010

Hey fellas:
need your help determining if this is a good buy. Found an 10 IS250 AWD w/o nav in the DC area for under $20k and 41k on the odo.

Does anybody know if an IS w/o navi holds it value over the years? Carfax is clean and I am looking up the service history through my dealer.

Also, does anyone have any options on whether the 2010 IS250 awds have any known flaws, transmission, awd, electronics, quality control etc. please share so that i have a better understanding of the 2.5 liter cars with AWD.

Big difference from 2010 to 2011+ are the LED DRL, which are pretty cool. And I believe LED taillights?

I'll be right over if you lower it.

I have an Audi R8 on my mind so i'm saving my pennies.

Good point. I believe LED headlights are compatible with the 06-10. I know the IS-Fs do.

Anybody experience any mechanical issues with 2010?

Just 1 with my 2010 AWD: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...ve-shafts.html

I have 112k on it now and it still runs like new.

All IS models hold their value but obviously people want the Nav more. Personally, I think 20 is a bit high (only because I can find one cheaper) but depends on what other features come with it.

I have 105 on my IS and it still looks and runs like new so 41 should last you some time if you take care of it

Thanks for the tip. I'll have to look out for that before I purchase. On Saturday I went to check the car out. It looks good and felt pretty good as well. Unfortunately, it was serviced at a Lexus dealer when it was new, and the Carfax report showed a two more shops where it was serviced, no factory warranty, so I didn't do the deal

Also, i noticed when i shift from Neutral to Drive the gear didn't click. Anybody else have that issue?

Oh, i agree it seems a little too much. Unfortunately, I haven't really come across another 2010 IS250 AWD with that kind of mileage so I had to look into it. The Blue, Black and NADA books show the pricing to be just above trade (excellent) and Retail, but I would have still tried to bargain the price down. Don't really believe in buying something at asking price.
