Default Should you slam new coilovers right away?

I'm about to get my coilovers installed in 3 hours. So just a quick question, any of you guys slam your car with brand new coilovers out the box or did you install them at the stock height (aka out of the box height) while waiting for them to settle and then proceeded to lower it a week or so later. I hear it makes a difference from a couple people but I'm just wondering. Thanks!!

For those that just decided to slam it, how many miles are on your coilovers and has there been any problems?!

with your question, either way, you would have to raise or lower. i would just slam it .incase it doesnt settle any lower

Immediately went from stock ride height (26.75" fender-to-ground) to 25" (F-T-G) on BCRs. Though many say springs don't settle, I experienced it first-hand. After a month I re-measured, ended up being 24.5" (F-T-G); I let it sit at that ride height until recently when I got some 19s.
