On an is250? Not a chance wheel, you wouldnt even get that from the crank. your looking at like most have stated.
intake - maybe 3-5 (maybe)
full exhaust - 7-10 (depends)
PPE Headers 15-20 hp. to the wheels ppe has proven charts.

There was a guy on the MR2 forums who has a boosted 4gr motor on 6psi that put out about 290. I am trying to find the thread since it was a few years ago. Its definitely possible to get close but not with the IS computer though. GR motor swaps are more common with the MR2 cars since they are a direct mate with their RR transmissions

The 2GR is a better swap but i know the 4gr was just a cheaper engine

Question was with bolt on parts would he put 300 wheel horsepower. No boost or tune mentioned. Highly unlikely and as heyarms said even boosted still isnt easy to hit 300 wheel hp

I would never invest that kind of time and money into increasing HP on an IS250. Sell it and buy an IS350 for instant 100HP boost if you really want instant HP gains (yes, I drive a 250)

It was FI not bolt ons. I remember seeing it a while ago achieving mid to late 200hp numbers. I know those MR2 guys have tons of threads with FE and FSE hybrid blocks with the camry's lower compression pistons so they can boost more with the lower compression. Or using the FE block and wiring harness with the FSE higher compression pistons to peak over the 300whp (not crank) I'm really just waiting for someone on the lexus forums to nut up and do it. There is a lot of information about the GR engines available, but like everyone says with money and time you can achieve results which at the moment I have neither lol

Once lexus comes out with the 2.0t engine, Im sure everyone would put this V6 turbo, bolt on, wanting to go fast stuff on theback burner and be wanting to go for that instead

I'm a former Dyno tuner and have tuned lots of Supras, most of which we're running AEM standalone ECUs. My main expertise was Honda and Mitsubishi. I use to work for Hondata and helped develop the K-Pro ECU from Hondata. I was also one of the first people in the world to turbo-charge the Acura RSX Type-S.
Ever hear of ECUTEK? This company just came out with a NA tune for the FRZ. The FRZ has the 2grfse like the Takoma and us. This company is getting 10-20+ with the tune. My point being, if they can crack the toyota ecu ( same engine code ) why cant they do it with the is350?

On another note on SAFC-2 - the same engine code 2GR-FSE is also in the old MR2's. Again, gains with bolt-on's yield 20+ hp with the SAFC. Im willing to bet with some dyno pulls that the right tuner, gain can me made with the 3g IS.

Lastly, I have emailed SRT - the have a lot of knowledge with the is300. Im wondering if anyone would be willing to experiment there.
