Is350 or Evo X ??

I am currently in the same dilemma but im considering trading my IS250 AWD which is slow for an EVO X because I want the power and AWD. My only issue is interior of a car means ALOT to me and the lexus interior has spoiled me where when I sat in the EVO, I hated it a little bit. Same goes with the wrx/STI, Its just boring and dull IMO but i love the exterior of both cars. AWD is a must for me at this point but interior is also just as important which has made me indecisive about trading up or in this case, trading down

get the evo X . thats a huge upgrade. IMO, not even a comparison. since yours is a 06 model, i actually would say the interior is better in the evo too. i cant tell you a downside besides the lexus having better clear coat on the paint.

Just couple things, be smooth on the throttle. If you are currently full reving it, don't do sudden lift and turn at the same time, this will spin you out. Don't slam the brake too suddenly as well. Be smooth on both throttle and brake and get ready for counter steer. Our car especially if you have the F sport rear sway bar installed is very tail happy

i had a subaru before and often wished i had gotten the evo instead just on cost at which the evo gets fast vs a suby. not to mention when something goes wrong the suby motor eats itself completely..
good luck

My friend lets me drive his evoX from time to time. The thing is fast(compared to my is250) but the interior really is lacking. It isn't a Lexus interior but if you can go without the luxury options then go for it.
He's also had his car in the shop for a new transmission swap under warranty, but that's probably just his bad luck.

I own both. I drive the IS350 6/7 days out of the week, but that's mostly because I live in the city. My Evo is not city friendly. It was featured on the cover of Modified magazine and makes 510 whp. I daily drove it for 4 years.
IS350 pros:
-much nicer interior
-backup camera
-stock vs stock the Lexus looks better
-comfortable
Evo pros:
-handling is in a completely different league compared to the Lexus. Steering response is excellent and you feel like you're driving on rails when taking turns. The Lexus' steering response is lousy
-AWD + snow tires is a fun time
-throttle response is much better on the Evo
-very mod friendly. A tune and basic bolt ons can yield 80hp.
