Are These Lug Nuts Safe???
I got these lug nuts in today. They were supposed to be compatible with my 2012 IS350C but the factory nuts look different.. I'm thinking I just need to keep the factory nuts on.

they look like they are slim lug nuts, which is for aftermarket wheels... if u are running oem wheels don't use those ones on the left...

So I found these wheel locks from tuneshop one eBay. OEM compatible wheel locks from Gorilla:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/4-LOCK-GORILLA-LEXUS-SCION-STOCK-FACTORY-WHEELS-RIM-MAG-LUG-NUT-12X1-5-1-5-BLACK-/400450711022?pt=Motors_Car_Truck_Parts_Accessories&fits=Make%3ALexus&vxp=mtr&hash=item5d3cb8edee
And these oem lug nuts from the same place:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/400615759622...84.m1423.l2649
They look correct for my model year and I verified (with calipers) the MAG inset width is correct .73 inches for factory wheels.
Also discovered some made by Gorilla 73138TBC (individual) and 73138TBCB (4 to a bag) retail for $3.99 each. probably better quality but are they worth the premium.

Not OEM black lug nuts as described. Not powder coated as described.
Dot not waste your time with this vendor. Or do buy from this vendor but do not expect a quality product.

Try LA Wheel. I bought flat seat OEM like lugnuts in chrome. Maybe they have black. The black lugnuts you have may fit the F Sport wheels, so it is possible the ad is accurate that they fit a Lexus application. They look very similar to the 12 mm conical sets on F Sport wheels that do not use flat seat lugnuts like those equipped on your IS.

I do not think applying plasti dip to something that is high torque that you will be wrenching on is ideal. They will likely get all marred up and ruin the finish.
