Default Swapping DRL's to LED's - 2IS (5-10 min. job)

Hi guys,

I just replaced my DRLs to LEDs as I could not stand the yellow look of them messing up with my 8000K lows. I bought a LED kit on Ebay and now I am satisfied

Looks pretty good, actually.
I wish they were a tad less blue.

Did you have stock HIDs or did you do a swap?

I have the 5000k bulbs on mine. Looks very close to the HIDs. Heres my post look at post #17 https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...ml#post8580692

I wish there were 4300k kits. ANyhow, OP, how did you cram the decoders into the headlight housing, and in under 10 minutes??? It was a B*tch to get in for me. I had to crack open the decoders and wrap them in black E tape and muscled the stupid dust caps on, took almost 30 minutes each side.

It was easy for me bro. Maybe it was the kit I got. Idk. Anyways, it took me between 8-10 mins., and without the help of my dad whom I always end up going to for any modification LOL

6k would be a little more on the cold white side I think. Should be 4500k

Just a note to those who may be interested in this mod. If you do it, you'll lose your High Beams. This may not be important to you, but it's important to me. What I would love to be able to do, is switch the DRLs to that other bulb in the High Beam (DRL nacelle) I have changed that build to an LED, and on Low Beam (I have HIDs) all my lights are blue white. I have also changed my Fogs to 2014 ISF LED fogs.
