Random Start Up Issue
I've got an '11 250AWD, 48K on the clock CPO purchase. Only had it for a month.
It's been pretty hot around here and I've noticed randomly the car starts up with a less than smooth idle. This ONLY happens if I've been driving the car, stop and restart it about 10-15 minutes later. A quick on/off/on does not produce any problems.
Outside temps are 80f+
No CEL has appeared so I figure a dealer visit is worthless. Am I correct in assume the intake temps are just so high the ECU has trouble calibrating? I'd gather intake temps are approaching 150-180 degrees based on my past experience with modifying/tuning cars, though I'm not logging anything on this stock car. Of course this goes away quickly.
My only other thought is this is carbon build up.
