Default HID bulb replacement question

when i bought my car a few months ago, 1 headlight was out. didnt have $ to buy the pair since 1 was $175 at autozone. its a D4S, dont know anything else about it.

why would it be $175 at autozone and more than that at lexus but amazon has the same bulb at $40 from philips? hows the price so far apart????

Garax bulbs are a good replacement if you don't want to pay for Phillips bulbs.

problem is, i have 1 new phillips bulb and 1 old one thats going to die very soon.

problem 2 is, im 99% sure i got it from autozone but the 1% was advanced auto parts and when i type in d4s, it only pulls up sylvania. neither have phillips but its def phillips.

i want to get the exact model # without doing surgery on the car...

Personally, I have the Osram CBI in my car and been very satisfied with them. At first they look like oem yellowish HID but after about 10 hours of runtime they're just bright white. Bought them here and comes in a pair and are genuine bulbs. Use code steadymobbin for 20% off. Also as serifiyah mentioned above, their Morimoto D4S are really nice, too
