Default another navigation problem. *with PIC*

encountered a navi screen problem where the screen showed the lexus logo and just blacked out. Although the radio works but the navigation screen is blacked out and the buttons do not work. Is this fuse?]

it looks just like this (borrowed following picture from another member)

^Like FSportIS, I had the same exact situation with my 2IS. I ended up not being able to do any of the DIY fixes to correct the issue, and came to realization that the problem was internal circuitry breaking down and losing connectivity over time due to heat (thermal expansion and contraction). Being a electrical noob, I opted for either the ebay seller referenced above or a different NAV unit altogether. I ended up finding a good, locally used '08 NAV unit at a budget-friendly $400. Fixed my problem immediately upon install of the new unit.

GL!

^Yep. I've thought about applying some thermal reflective tape to the NAV unit housing to keep the excessive temps out. Haven't gone through with it, as who knows if it'll be worthwhile.
