this is my brothers car
its a manual IS250
then we put a 2011 IS350 runing gear into it
took out the autobox and bolted up the MT box
no rewire or anything needed
other than the wiring for the gearbox and reverse sensor input
and the ECU has to be reflashed to delete the autobox off the ecu programing

Congrats, an exeptional mod.
I have a 250 M/T supercharged running beautifully for 30.000 miles now.
Fidanza flywheel along with the Spec 2 clutch go along like a glove.
Install a quick shift and it will change the stick's distance to half.
Congrats again.

Nice a supercharger. I was thinking of supercharging the 3.5L but not sure if the box can handle that much power. The car loses enough traction already at the moment...

Where did you reflash the ECU? I thought the toyota N/A ECU's couldn't be reflashed
IF it is true, this opens up alot of options for modding an IS250 since the 250 is the only one that can accept an LSD from earlier models.

Wait; so is it really that easy?
What other parts are needed? I am guessing, every single component from the engine bay, radiator etc. Are the 350 engine mounts at the same location any drilling reinforcement needed?
Any parts relocation needed to fit it with the 6-speed transmission?
I am sure that the 250 differential will be ok for a while with the extra HP so I wouldn’t worry about that.
Anything else?

this is a basic run down
we used everything out of a 2011 is350 wreck which i bought for a dirt cheap price at the auctions
the whole is350 wiring was used everything down to the nav and audio etc
so even though the car is a 2006 IS250
the way we went about it
reshelld the 2011 IS350 into the 2006 IS250
and then took the MT box off the 250 motor
and bolted it up to the 350 motor
yes the ecus can be reflashed but we are not in the USA
