Is Glacier Frost Mica "white" or "silver?"
This color keeps popping up when I search by color as "white," but to me it looks like a light silver. Those of you who have this car, or are familiar...white? Or silver? Thx.

Here you go..GFM is pearl heavy hence why itll look different under certain lighting conditions. Looks more white to me tho.

So yeah, the pearl in some light can really make you wonder at times; but it is white. GFM and SGM were the only two color options I was looking at when 2IS shopping. At times when I drive past a clean GFM paint job, I sometimes wish I had held out for one.

My IS is Glacier Frost Mica, and yes, it can trick you at times depending on the lighting. On overcast days it will look almost silver but in sunlight it is white and has a ton of bluish/purple pearl in it which looks amazing. People always think I had my car custom painted

Now, here's the humiliating part...that's what color my totaled one was. I "thought" it was Starfire Pearl (077) until Hubby showed me mine, side by side w/ his buddy's 07 that actually IS Starfire Pearl. I am so ashamed
While I may feel like a fool, I am no longer ignorant on the color palette. Call me grateful!

Glad you got that resolved. Another questions I've always wondered is when people are referring to "Pearl White" for the Lexus, are they talking about Glacier Frost Mica (074) or Starfire Pearl (077). Because I've heard people say my SFP is pearl white but others have said GFM is the one.. CONFUSED

well, I don't think there is "Pearl White" Lexus IS ... if they're just making that color up, then you'll have to ask them what they mean. I would guess Starfire Pearl since they have the same word.
Too bad Lexus stop making glacier frost. It's the most unique car color ever made. It's kinda girly, so I didn't really specifically look to buy it, but wouldn't mind getting it.
