TSW Wheels are great quality ( rotory forged) so they are high strength clients love them and their styles are nice.
Volk, SSR, HRE etc. those are hgiher end multipiece or forged monoblock wheels.
good wheels in the budget range are mrr, tsw, etc.

Linea wheels are trash!!! I would never buy they products again, I had a set of the LC818 and BOTH of my rear wheels cracked within a month and they are not repairable. costumer help from wheeldude is nonexistent too. Just save your Money and buy other wheels...

I wouldn't buy anything cheaper than Enkei, TSW.
There are guys in the S2K forums who use wide XXR wheels for track duty only because they're cheap. Therefore, easier to replace when they do break. Plus, it's cheaper to buy 3 sets of XXRs on a budget than 3 sets of Volks.
This is all besides the point.
People who know me on the forums know I love nothing but high end wheels. However, I do like wheels from Enkei, Advan, Yokohama, TSW, etc. You don't have to spend 3 to 4 grand on a set of wheels to have something quality. Just be aware of companies like Vossen, XXR, Rotas, Konig, etc. They're quality is known to be iffy. It's like buying $30 ebay HID kits. You roll the dice.

Regarding Linea and Vossen particularly, the general consensus seems that they look very good. However, when it comes to quality, some say they crack/bend easily while some say they have high quality. Anyone from both side would like to chime in for this??

FWIW, here are some pics of Vossens. Mind you, they stand behind their products 100% unless it's not a defect.

Again, these wheels are cast. Any cast wheel can shatter. However, OEM cast wheels are heavy so they can withstand potholes and curbing.
Final note, USA doesn't enforce wheel standards like in Japan or Germany. Wheels manufactured in those countries MUST meet or exceed the JWL or TUV respectively. That's why it's imperative that you take this into account when looking for "quality" wheels.

I've had Linea Corse wheels on my car for a while before, to me, they're fine as long as you don't trash or beat the living crap out of your car with a curb.
I have had Volks, Enkei, Work and now Vossen (I never had a set of Vossen's so I figure why not..) and so far they're fine on my car. It might be because I don't drive my car hard and actually do try to avoid pot holes.

You can't see the damn potholes sometimes though, especially at night. Imagine a wheel breaks, you spin out of control and the worst happens with someone riding in your car (or outside of it) because you knowingly put a fragile part on your car ... I can't do it.
