This looks like an awesome deal. Its the exact front lip i want and its painted, so i dont have to go through the hassle of getting it painted when it gets delivered. I do not have the money to buy an authentic lip kit, so this seems perfect. Any input?

$350 for a replica painted front lips isn't cheap. How much is the original front lip and how much is the painting + installation?

thats $85

then paint would be $100

thats only 185 and you could install it yourself. very easy!

not sure if you are looking at my link, but its 199 for the painted front lip. And I believe its around 600-700 dollars for an authentic lip.

Haha, ALWAYS look at the SHIPPING $$$ too lol. I hate ebay sellers lowering their product price while jacking up the shipping cost. To avoid all this, I look at the FINAL cost including shipping to make my purchase decision on eBay.

I agree with metaleckz, I think $80 for unpainted part + $100 for paint + $20 3M tape = $200 or so. Even for body shop to paint and installation, I think it runs around $250-350 total including part.

I hate it when that happens. Thats the one problem with ebay, the cost is lower, but the shipping is higher.

Ebay tries their best to do away with sales with crazy high shipping costs when compared to the product's ctual cost; but seeing it's from overseas, they can get away with it. But still, like others said, you can get the same lip and paint it by a local auto body shop for less.

Keep in mind these replica lips usually don't fit that well; so you'll encounter gaps between the top of the lip and the front bumper cover more than likely :

That's ridiculous, $150.00 for shipping. Maybe it's an error!

The authentic front lip is about $800. Paint shops rares are $90/hr. it takes a few hours including prep and test fitting. So his thought of $350 was cheap.

Hey Metaleckz,

Where are you located? If I could get someone to paint that lip for me for a $100.00, I'd do it.

My local shop did my rear GFX lip in SGM for $120; results were perfect too! I gave them the tow hook cover, and they blended it to match the fade on the rear bumper.
