How to factory jack a slammed 2is with Ings side skirts
So I have one day left until my alignment appointment and I want to lower my car a little lower. I don't have a low profile jack or anything. I just have a couple 2x4 pieces of wood and a factory jack. I already tried putting the car on two blocks and it didn't make a difference since the side skirts were still in the way. This is my first lowered car so I need to know what to do in case of a flat tire anyways.

From my experience the scissor jack will be lower than any low profile jack. It's just the design makes it prone to hitting side skirts when you're first extending it.
I would just use more wood blocks. My friend has the same problem with the jack hitting the side skirt but it's so minor and the weight is on the jack that there's no real chance of major damage.

I have the same skirts and prob just as low if not lower. Heres what you do....
Lower jack all the way...
Get a small piece of 2x4 prob about 4-6inch long...
Place it ontop the jack...
Line it up with your rails or lack there of if your car is like mine and they are gone...
Start to raise your car ...
You should clear the skirt by like an 1inch or so that's how much clearance I got....
I keep a piece of 2x4 in my spare wheel well for roadsize service...
