I see you are in VA. did this happen after you shoveled some snow with the wipers?
On my Infiniti, the right side wiper arm became bent after I "attempted" to clear 4 inches of snow on the windshield using the wiper rather than scraping it off like I should have.

The the way, if you look at the diagram and part number 85178 (9017910223
NUT FOR FRONT WIPER ARM SETTING) indicated that the Wiper Arm could be set to a lower position. Just remove the Cap and see if you could adjust it.

Mines ended up like this after I took it in for the wiper recall.
Then, my car went in for autobody repair on the front bumper from an accident and when I got it back the other day, it's sitting flush now. Not sure if they did something to it or not while in the body shop.

Glad you got it fixed
I however tried to remove the nut where it says the adjustment should be made and that thing is not going ANYWHERE (not the nut...the wiper arm) haha. It's alright. I have an appointment on Monday to adjust it and throw the OEM wipers on there.

RainX Latitudes are terrible wipers (at least used to be). I was a manager at Advance Auto in VA (Had to step down when wife took a job in CA and we moved since no Advance Auto here). The best blades you can get IMO are the Bosch Icons. They're a few dollars more but have been outlasting any other wipers I've put on my vehicle for years. The RainX ones I would install for customers usually did what yours are doing, where they don't contour to the windshield. My '06 IS350 had the factory wipers/blades on it when I got it, but I have since put the Icons on it. I don't think they are lifted like yours are there. My wife has the car at work today so can't confirm. Here in SoCal it doesn't rain much anyways and I don't think we have had to turn on the wipers yet since we've had it.

I have never had problems with Latitude wipers. I have been using those and the Icons on all of my vehicles without any problems for quite some time and with my experience there is NO difference between the two.
Also, I did say that the previous wipers that were on there did the same exact thing.....so that leads me to believe it is not the wipers themselves but the adjustment.
