I wouldn't use winter tires year round. Once summertime rolls around, the heat from the pavement tends to melt down the smaller groves on the tires to round them out making it less of a winter tire. Winter tires are substantially softer than A/S or summer tires. I made the unfortunate mistake of doing that a few years ago, got winter tires put on the first year it was fine. Sold my rims and had to keep em on longer than I wanted too, the 2nd year, the first moment of Ice and snow, it was the equivalent of having summer tires as one turn i take normally, i ended up sliding 30 feet almost bumper first into a guard rail due to no traction. The $800 i spent on those tires were basically worthless the second winter. A lesson for those who keep their winter tires on longer than necessary

LOL, it seems to snow every time I take my winter tires off. Fair warning for all 2 of you from my neck of the woods, it will snow within a week of this Thursday when I put my summer tires on. Get ready for the ice skating!

I put off the Bridgestone Blizzak LM60 high performance snow tires and sold them all to a member in IL who needed them months ago. It is crazy driving snow tires in Southern CA summer road, it is the loud as hell, doesn't steer well, brake doesn't bite, it is literally dangerous. I have my summer tires on now and it is a day and night difference in term of handling.

Btw, beautiful snow picture... lol

Swapped the OEMs out for my summer wheels this past weekend. Feels great, also FYI to everyone running Blizzaks, they wear down ridiculously fast in weather above 45* so it's better to take them off as soon as possible.

JayTea, nice wheels and headlight retrofit with angel eyes yo.

Can you shed some light on the headlight mod? What is needed and about how much to get that done?

Headlights were a little pricey, but costs much less than the LED headlight. There's a guy that does retrofitting in my area, and he put in two sets of LED angel eyes in because CCFL eyes are highly unreliable. In the high beams I got another set of projectors put in as well so I still have high beam abilities. Housing was just fully blacked out with reflector taken out. Left the amber led in. They are also rewired to be on for DRL and every other light is off. Night time I have 2 sets of projectors and fogs

Hit me up if you want his details and he can quote you... I know people ship him headlights to retrofit too.

Some people hate them on lexus' but I love them cause they pop, even during the sunniest days.
