Vivid vinyl wrap is not a brand... they're just a re seller for many brands of vinyl. Just like how I have told many other forum members... don't cheap out on vinyl as it will be a pain in the *** to install due to how stiff the material is and it'll be a nightmare to remove all the adhesive off your paint when you remove the vinyl. Trust me, I've wrapped my car 5 different colors. One of them was with that cheap material that I bought from them.

Go with something like 3M, Avery, Hexis or Arlon.

As an installer IMO Oracal's 970 is the best. 3M doesn't make a bad product, but like everything their name gets them more credit than due.

That being said, I'm not an installer so Jman might have the better advice.

I've used 1080 series and turned out a good looking product, just feel that it's a bit more prone to surface scratches than the oracal.

It's temporary, can crack in extreme cold, available in many different colors and textures, readily available, cheaper than a paintjob, and like anything else, can look bad if applied wrong.

Pros and cons are mixed in there but that's the gist of it all.
