I had mine temporarily run to the centre console aux plug. Since the wiring was already there, I tapped into the wires on the back of the aux plug and put a fuse in-line. Everything is hidden nicely, my fuse box isn't tampered with and my aux plug is still available for use. Very easy to pop the rear seat AC vent off and tap into the wires.
