Following Carbon Build Up Repairs..
So my IS 250 has been at the dealership now for over a week, they called me yesterday and told me the engine rebuild is complete and I could go pick it up. While the engine was apart I had them replace the spark plugs and water pump to save me on labor. Here's where the problem begins.. When the car was pulled up onto the service drive, it sounded awful, engine was very loud. Needless to say I refused the car and took my loaner back. Idk what the noise could have been, but my car was absolutely silent when I dropped it off. Anyone else experience anything like this before? I usually use full synthetic oil and Im guessing they replaced it with their bulk oil but I don't think this would cause the engine to run really loud. Ill see what they tell me on Monday.
