I did just check on Lexus's website, and per description "Heated and ventilated front seats have separate heaters and fans in the seat cushions that provide comfort regardless of the weather."
So yes, RC comes with that ventilated option seats as well.

Posting in this thread cause I'm also interested.
Maybe I'm naive but can't we get a wiring diagram for the seats to understand what each wire does and map it to the appropriate wires? It seems if the connectors don't fit this is the next step... no?

Bumping this back to the top because I'm also curious about putting these seats in my 06! I think the only complications that might come up is re-connecting the air bags. Any difference in resistance from the new seats to the old seats could potentially set them off. But that should be as easy as checking resistance on both seats and soldering in resistors if need be. As for power/grounds for the heated/cooled and adjustable seats, either checking wiring diagrams or using a meter would determine how to wire the new seats up. I might be looking into doing this mod in the near future
Anyone know if any 3IS cars DIDN'T have cooled seats or did they all have cooled seats? I would hate to get rid of that feature in my car even though they don't work all that great.

As mentioned above, you'll want to get seat diagrams for your car, and the car the seats came from. The Toyota TIS site should have all the info someone would need about the airbags and what not.

Depends on what trim. 14 IS F-sports did not have ventilated seats, while the non f-sport trim did have them. 15+ IS F-sports did get ventilated seats though.

Damn! Toyota TIS isn't cheap! But I guess checking wiring diagrams shouldn't take long.
