I had that hood for roughly 5 years. No issues whatsoever due to inclement weather or car washes. You are good to go.

You shouldnt have any issues as the vent are angled toward you the driver. If water was an issue and that is "IF" the only real issue would be a car wash but as Nabbun said ^ he had no issues! So get it and enjoy the style

Water and snow shouldn't be a problem, I ran a vented hood on my STi in upstate NY weather conditions with no problem, with the filter exposed. As for other CF companies if not Seibon not sure, they're probably the best in the game..

I wish i could get the ts but am kinda nervous of the water issue in the vents, there pretty big and right in the front, thinking maybe the matt black oem cf and i'll have it painted on the sides with the cf strip up the middle to the grill.

Usually, companies will drop ship them directly from seibon to you.

Yes, my car was a daily driver. I don't have the monies to get a 2nd car lol all my monies goes into modding and dining out . . .

You try looking at VIS Racing? I think the other hood is too aggressive unless you do the rest of the car the same.

Correct! Thus the reason why they had to call their source...the manufacturer. Those mom-and-pop performance shops don't actually stock the product they sell, they simply re-sell the product with a slight margin to stay in business. They don't have the warehouse space to keep anything in-stock and thus the term drop-ship.

I work for an international distributor of IT equipment; so I know how the game works. LOL!

Have you tried looking at other brands? VIS Racing? Advan Carbon? Carbon Creations?
