I'm confused...so you said a retailer had the hood in stock, but you called Seibon? Whom is this retailer exactly?

Not gonna say the retailers name but all the retailers call Seibon to see if they have it in stock . When i called the day before the salesman said they didn't have it in stock but i guess he was wrong. I ordered it direct because i got it at wholesale and saved two hundrend dollars out the door because its going to my body shop!

Good luck (not sarcastically, either), a vendor for Seibon can just lie and say its in stock just to get your business. Happened to my buddy recently and took about 6-7 weeks to get.

so have you found out if any of these vented hood will have water leaking problems? they all look like open spaces where water can just get into engine compartment..

Water and dust will definetly get into the engine compartment. For the time being I'm just gonna use some duct tape underneath the hood until i come up with a better solution, at least for the winter!

I made acrylic windows and sealed them so no water leaks. I have an exposed air filter for my supercharger under one of the vents and couldn't risk soaking that, or when I previously had my boost/wideband modules mounted in the engine bay. The car isn't my daily anymore but I still keep them, even if it does defeat the heat ventilation aspect. Vandals and random rain storms won't have access to my engine bag
