Default Changing a Flat with pressure sensors

Hi all,

This being the first car I've owned with the tire pressure sensors, are there any specific things needed to be done if I get a flat and have to buy a new tire?

I'm guessing the sensor on the tires can be reused? Does it have to be reprogrammed?

Appreciate the advice...

No reprogramming needed as your sensors are staying with the same car. Nothing special you have to do.

sensor is attached to the valve stem of the wheel, when you get a new tire, nothing changes

Thanks guys - so just tell the tire spot that the sensor is there and to be careful when removing the tire from rim..

Yep, if they're smart they should remove the tire sensor before removing the tire in order to not damage the tpms. So just make sure they know

you should have no problems. have had my fair share of tire problems, but no problems with tire sensor. If something is broken they can usually rebuild it.
