That was disappointing watching a Lexus going through that abuse. I would be pissed and requested the manager to re-imburse for the damages. If I had evidence of the abuse, that is all I need to get the valet guy disciplined and repair going for the damages he/she caused.

To the OP, sorry to watch your car go through that nightmare. That's why I don't go to valet... I never did. I read so many horror stories on the news how valet takes a ferrari on a joyride and totals it. If I have to go with valet, it's either the rental car or my daily driver/beater car.

So many people already commented... valet is a job. It's no different than doctors. Doctors don't shove a piece of turd in you and sew you up because you didn't look him/her in the eye or disrepect them. Like any other jobs, doctors have a duty to perform. The same goes for valet. sffd stated a good point also... if you want respect, you need to start first by respecting the other person.
