They are cheap on Sewell with the CL discount. Got them a couple months ago, were in stock.

Ah, bummer! I was hoping not to have to do any modifications to install them.

Jeff - just in case you were not already aware, the LED fog lamps do apply to the 2011-2013 IS models. They don't of course install on the previous years given the completely different shaped fog lamps.

The removal/installation requires you to partially remove the engine under cover to expose the back side of the lamps. Once access is gained, unplug it, unscrew it and remove. Then proceed with adding the LED fog lamp assemblies, screwing them into place and connecting (click) it's pigtail connector. That's seems to be it.

Does anyone know the diameter and possibly the depth of these LED lamps? I'm interesting in retrofitting them in another vehicle

I was the first person I am aware of to install these in their car last year and they were not a direct fit for the 2011-13 ISx50. The mounting tabs are positioned differently, I outlined what has to be done to get them to fit in my first post of this thread. They are a direct fit for the IS F, not other IS models.

Still, they were pretty close to a direct fit, and I've enjoyed having them in the car. Definitely worthwhile.

Oh my! It would seem not only were my assumptions false, my lack of attention has proved a bit embarrassing. Thanks for the follow-up Jeff. I'll be making the appropriate corrections on our end.

Jeff,
Could you do us a favor by showing what needs to be trimmed, cut in order for them to fit so we won't mess it up and have it done just as neatly as you did? A drawing of some sort would be of tremendous help. Really appreciate it. This will be my next mod

You can see the pieces I trimmed (*note the jagged edges). This was before I then got out the Dremel to straighten up the edges.

So not terribly hard to modify as long as you have a Dremel. Did you need to remove the front bumper, or did you just remove the fog light surround via the wheel wells?

Thanks!
