$1,100 for the 60K!
Lexus dealer or not, $1100 for the IS250 60k is nuts! The majority of the cost is associated with the spark plug replacement which from all my reading is a 2-4 hour job based on ability. Sadly, besides the spark plugs, this is a rather regular maintenance.
That said, the good news is I'm doing it myself and putting the savings into more productive purchases like the F-Sport intake, multiple oil filters, gaskets, etc. for a grand total of $465.69 thanks to the CL discount through Sewell Lexus.
Many thanks to each of you that have contributed to this site. You've saved me a lot of money and time with the recommendations, DIYs and vast insights into this vehicle.

Dealers obviously love to overcharge for these service intervals, but $1,100 for the 60k mile one is outrageous.
I hope though that you only asked them a quote on the "60k service" for your amusement, because as you've probably learned on CL you should NEVER ask for the "__k service" at a dealer (or anywhere else). This signals to the dealer that you have no idea what the "__k service" involves so they can just charge you whatever they can get away with.
Just consult your manual, take note of the key maintenance items required at that interval that are real and material. This means things like oil change, brake fluid flush, spark plug change, etc. Exclude everything that says "test", "inspect", "road test", etc. Those are all to pad the cost.
For the 60k service, the key items are filters, oil change, brake fluid, and spark plugs (and possibly tire rotation, if it applies).
Then call up the dealership and ask them to quote you a price on each of those services. The sum of that will be much, much less than the $1,100 they quoted you for the 60k service (though still high, due to dealership pricing).

Sorry, upper Intake manifold. It's my understanding that this should be removed when replacing the spark plugs. If I'm removing it I'd prefer not to reuse the rubber gaskets.

Onto your other question - When I asked about the 60k the service adviser immediately commented that the spark plug replacement was the bulk of the cost. Their 60k specific maintenance doesn't add a lot on top of the Lexus mentioned items.
