6speed clutch slipping??

Default 6speed clutch slipping??

I have a 08 is250 6 speed, and now the clutch started to slip 1000rpm when the gas is push in a little more anyone else with this problem my Car have 49000 miles.

What clutch and flywheel should I go with next if I need to replace?

45k is still under factory warranty so stop by at dealer and let them take care of problem. Good luck!

i'd go with oem clutch and flywheel unless you're making significantly more power than stock

called lexus the first time and the first guy said it cover under powertrain 70.000 miles, called back today a different guy said it over under basic warranty stop at 50.000.
Does anyone else have this problems beside me?
right now my is250 have 53.848 miles...
what should I do?
feel like I brought a piece of **** over price lexus now.

Haha, go buy a BMW, you would feel way worse.

Anyhow I expect that Lexus would still cover you on this, even though you are slightly over the miles. You might have to ask corporate and see what they say, just dont be a **** when you ask.

Have you actually had it diagnosed by the dealer yet? If not I would take it in to have that done first. If it is the clutch and you are only a 3k miles out of warranty they will probably be willing to help you get it fixed under warranty. When the car is there they can contact lexus on your behalf.

the clutch isn't covered because its a "wear and tear" item. itd be like telling the dealer to replace brakes or something because someone rides them down hill excessively
