hey guys
is there a position where I can mount my gopro (I have the first gen) to and won't fall off? I sit pretty up close to the underside of the steering wheel so mounting my gopro on the cover that's below the steering wheel won't work. I have the suction cup mount so am I able to either 1) mount it on the side pocket of my door or 2) to the left of the center console? This is a leased car so I don't want to stick one of those adhesive mounts on the ground near my seat because I'd have to remove it in about a year and a half. As for getting video footage of the speedometer, where should I mount it? I've tried various positions but none seem to work. I've tried mounting it to the sunroof as well as my window but 1) the dash is either too small on camera or 2) if I mount it on my window, I can't see the RPM gauge. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks.

How about have someone hold it while you drive?

because I'm doing this for a video purpose and they wouldn't know how I want to shoot it and when. I plan on getting an angle of the pedals as well as the dash, both of which at the same time but seeing as how my legs are actually quite short, I sit too up close to the steering wheel otherwise putting it under the steering wheel would be perfect.
