The way I do it involves moving no pins around and the LEDs turn on once the Igniton is turned on without the need for the parking light to be one. I also go one step further by making them work like oem 100% power until the low beams are turned on.

I had my old 250 that way and I just wired up my sisters 250 the same way.

They say that it will keep lighting.

You could either remove the cluster and put black tape over the light or just pull the afs fuse.

Even Sewell right now is $1,900+ for the stripped set. I have heard that they will not have another group buy, I hope that's not true. $1,200 sounds a lot better than $1,900.

Yeah I heard the same thing.

Seems like the classifieds is the best place to find a decent price for the headlights

Has anyone removed the front bumper with parking sensors + radar equipped emblem. Is that a hard job or does it simply plug out?

Definitely worth the upgrade, and esp. for the halogen models.
I had the choices between the F-sport bumper or the lights, and I picked the lights.
My set was pieced together separately found on Craigslist for $850 (total for both sides, loaded)
