That doesn't surprise me and it is the reason i always hesitate to generalize based on regional observation. I don't know what the current numbers look like, but I know 10 years ago 40% of the cars Mercedes sold nationwide were in California alone. I do stick to the numbers Lexus indicated several years ago that production of the 350 were between 15%-20%. In some parts of the country it is far less than that. In fact in most parts of the country it is far far less than that. California has always been a statistical anomaly in the luxury market.

Are the 350s RWD? Or Awd? Or do they come in both?
If they are rwd drive , that may be another reason there are so few on this end of the states , all ive seen are awd250s, a lot safer for our winters

Well since posting the topic I've finally seen one today.

I agree havent seen an Audi other than a AWD, but I do see a couple here and there for sale, so I know a small number of people here must own them.

They come in both RWD and AWD...like the 250.

I don't see very many around the Midwest either. I had to drive a few hours out of state to find mine ('11 IS350 AWD). The fact that it was looking for AWD made it that much harder too.

Overall I see a ton of IS250's, and for about the half a year I've had mine I've only spotted 1 additional 350. It certainly feels like 10-20% here.

I saw one AWD IS350 and that one was from Michigan.

Almost every sunday I see a 2007 IS350 in the parking lot at my church.

BTW, I'm originally from the east side of Allegheny county.

I have had mine since Jan. I drove 350 miles to get a 350 they way I wanted it. I have only seen 1 other on the road or in a parking lot since I got mine. I was shocked to see how rare they are. In contrast I have seen 2 IS-F's since I got mine. 1 of those belonged to a friend, but still.

I see at least one IS350 everyday here in NorCal. & I see about 1 ISF per week on average lol. IS250's, at least a few of them a day

Here in AZ I see more 350s than 250s... It's sad because I have the 250 and wish I had the 350.. Lol

This past Saturday I saw an Obsidian w/ black interior for sale at a local MB dealership. I didn't know it was a 350 until I looked at the brakes and trunk lid.
