factory HID low beam question.
i have a 2010 is250 and i just upgraded the low beam (with factory hid) to 6k and fog light to HID. However, im not happy with light output form low beam, its too dim. i was thinking of upgrading low beams to aftermarket hid kit, what bulb should i use? thank you for your help.

6k is going to be less output than the factory 4300k you removed. you didn't really upgrade the low beam. you just got a new bulb with a bluer color temperature and therefore less output. if you want brighter, you're going to have to go back to the factory HID. i think phillips has a more expensive 6k available that might be a little bit brighter. that might be your best bet if you want slightly brighter 6k light output but probably won't be as bright as your OEM hid bulbs you had in the car already.

but 4300 by far will be the most light output you are going to get. i did 3k in the fogs and love it
