Default Best way to clean and polish these wheels

Hey guys as the title says I need the best way to clean the machine lip and pinstripe on these wheels as they have spot like oxidation I'm assuming along with bring the black back to a brand new look.

By the way wheels are gloss black with machine lip and pinstripe

To me it looks like you're clear coat is shot. You need to have them refinished.

Thanks. Ill check into that. What do you think could have caused that to happen?

Yep... if that is clear coat then they are going to need to be sanded and re cleared on the machined section.

weathering and salt.

especially since your on the east coast.

There's a wide range of prices that a shop can charge you. Down here in SoCal, I've gotten quotes from $80-$125/per wheel.

you can try Meguiars Mag & Alumium Polish.

maybe some wet sanding with 2000 grit prior. (black portion masked off)

if you still don't see any improvements, plastic dip until you can have professional take care of it to at least cover up the oxidation to give matte/gloss look?

After you get them refinished, be sure to regularly wash and wax the wheels to help prevent damage in the future. You can also try a permanent protection like Opti-Coat if you want to.
