Default DRL LED (getting sick of this topic, experts needed)

I bought a set of LEDs with decoders, when I connected them. It flickers, it's normal because I didn't have high beam on so my bulb flickers. Once I turn on high beam, my LED DRL is fine because it's operating at full power. Now, why in the world would I need my to use high beam to power my LED to operate normal when my HID is on?? Since I can't turn on high beam without my HID being on... and losing fog light as well...

Question: is there anyway to make my DRL operates with flickering (without turning on high beam)?

Not sure why your having problems. The LED DRL disables yours highbeams since LEDs cannot be turned on to "full power".

I had a LED DRL setup before and never had any flickering issues

You said you bought led with decoder so the decoder supposed to make the led not flicker.

did you touch the bulbs with your hands? I heard the oil from the hands can damage the bulbs. And make sure you hear a click after pushing in the bulbs.

Oh by the way, without a decoder the LED won't even turn on. With the decoder it flickers, with high beam it operates fine... definitely don't want high beam.

My friend knows someone who makes different types of LEDs so I got them from him. Its simply a 9005 LED bulb with a decoder.

OP: Which ones did you end up buying? iJDMTOY sells a kit for ~$50 with everything included

http://www.ebay.com/itm/390509023139...84.m1439.l2649. I tried a set of decoder from iJDMTOY too, it was the first set and it flickers so I returned it and went for another set on ebay.

That's strange. I'm running the kit from iJDMTOY and everything seems to work fine for me.

hmm maybe there error free has to do something with the flickering? can you borrow anyone LED bulb and try it? to see if they flicker......... maybe those LED bulb take more juice so you will need a harness because i see on VLEDS and IJDMTOYS bulb with alot of LED on them come with 1 decoder and a harness..

I don't have harness for them, only the decoder. I tried different LED bulbs too, the decoder should remove flickering issue. I looked at a lot of these LED DRL for IS and a lot of them stated it operates normally under high beam which will become useless to me. But a lot of people got them to work with normal DRL and decoder... my life sucks... if anyone is around NY let's meet up :-) and help me out lol
